What better way to spend a late summer Saturday, than browsing the gardens of neighbors? Even better when there is an official invitation to do so.
The Morley Area Residents Association (MARA) invites all garden lovers to meander through seven lovely gardens this Saturday. The active neighborhood association agreed to open their yards for
a self-guided garden tour.
Located west of Ford Field, near the intersection of Morley and Military, the blooming walk will begin at 1:00 pm and end at 3:00 on Saturday September 10, 2011.
The proximity of this area to the Rouge River wetlands makes for a lush growing climate. The proximity to many local restaurants like Panera Cares, Good Time Cafe, Buddy's, LA Bistro, Kabuki or O'Sushi (for excellent sushi) completes the afternoon. A meal and a stroll makes for a perfect Saturday afternoon. Or pack a lunch, grab the kids, and picnic at Ford Field before enjoying the gardens.

You never know who you may run into?
And the price is right!
